This Guidance sets forth an employer's legal obligations regarding reasonable accommodation; however, employers may provide more than the law requires.

The Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LMRDA), also known as the Landrum-Griffin Act, is the federal law that provides rights for most private sector union members, including postal workers and those covered by the Railway Labor Act. The Members' Bill Rights is a must read for all union members. Click here for Overview of Members' Bill of Rights.

Members have rights even in General Membership meetings. In most local unions  meetings are conducted using "Robert Rules of Order." Although the book "Robert's Rules of Order, 10th edition" is not  in electronic form--you can view its contents at  Bartleby Books Online or view some quick charts.
