Top 100 Postal Contracts and Suppliers in FY 2002, 2003, 2004

by Wickwire Gavin, a group that helps postal contractors understand and work effectively within the Postal Service's unique contracting environment. The list (which was compiled with information obtained from the Postal Service) is sorted by contract value for USPS Fiscal Year 2002 (9/9/01 - 9/8/02.) According to the group, some contractor names may have been changed to recognize new corporate structures or identities and contract values are estimates only, and may or may not include the value of contract options, or be fully accurate. Actual contract value will likely differ from the estimate based on changes or modifications issued during performance. Most public comments disapproved of the proposed plan to virtually eliminate the Postal Serviceís purchasing regulations and to institute a new regulation that would allow the agency to cancel business relationships for subjective reasons
