When I first saw this photo I assumed it was part of the Postal Service’s “Star Wars” promotion. But it was just my eyes playing tricks on me.

Not a Star Wars theme carrier. It’s a contract carrier, no uniforms required. The USPS is going down the crapper.

What do you get when most of the mail these days is junk mail? Junk carriers! What happened to the professional image the USPS wanted to project?

Contract carrier positions are a pedophile’s dream! What better way to keep track of kids!!! Get to know them; get them to trust and pounce! What genius thought this up?
I’d be a wreck if
a. I had chldren still at home
b. I was elderly/disbaled living alone
c. Had an elderly/disabled relative living alone.

As an employee for a dedicated postal uniform supplier, I’m not pleased with this. We take great pride in providing USPS mail handlers with official uniforms and upholding the professional image of the USPS. Why can’t these individuals be required to wear the proper uniform? Do they not work for the UPSPS?

I think she is adorable and she probably works her butt off but if she is a contract employee…it is too bad that she won’t make a wage decent enough to raise a family…you can bet that the person who hired her will be pocketing what she should be earning…

did i detect a lot of racial inuendos here guys,i thought it was about the clothes ,not the person..i sure wouldnt want to be caught dead in an outfit like that,but i am sure the young lady does a great job…
