Ad agency Campbell-Ewald launched a new WordPress-powered site for the U.S. Postal Service for its Deliver Magazine
According to Adirondack Base Camp blog:
Talking to the Postman - USPS goes 2.0
Matt, the father of all Wordpress, points out this neat find: Deliver - official blog of the United State Postal Service.More than ever, the revolutionary new internet is quickly replacing vestigal medias and creating new forms of interaction. The injection of the of one of the world’s largest and most efficient information movers into the blogospere is big news. I think this is really worth paying attention to. Please compare: the dollars spent on delivering information via the “snail” system and the initial and operating cost of delivering information the new way.
Now the big question: What is the future role of the United States Postal Service in the new digital age?

Hello… where have you been the last 10 -15 years? The digital age has been here. The postal service still provides a very important service to a large number of people, you know, the people
without computers. The direct mailers who are very savy business folks now that the postal service is their direct link to target marketing.
The overriding concern of the mailers and postal
employees is wether postal management is going to
run the $75 billion dollar behemoth into the ground!!!!!!!
