UNOFFICIAL ELECTION REPORT

AS OF 3:00 P.M. ON 10/12/01

TO:         APWU NATIONAL OFFICERS, Candidates AND MEMBERS

At 2:00 p.m. today (Friday, October 12, 2001), the APWU National Election Committee picked up the ballots from the Brentwood Avenue Post Office.  There were approximately 95,400 pieces of mail returned.

A Comparison Chart has been developed to provide information relating to the 1995, 1998 and 2001 elections and the total ballots returned.  Please refer to the special section on the APWU webpage for this chart.

Unofficial Election Results Reports may be accessed on the APWU web page (www.apwu.org).  These reports will be updated every three to four hours between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (October 13-14, 2001).  We will announce the schedule for Monday thru the completion of the count when determined.
